James William Crouse's Obituary
James William Crouse, 59, of Memphis passed away June 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born December 11, 1951 in Memphis. Besides his love of family, he was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. Mr. Crouse enjoyed spending time at his deer camp by the Tennessee River. After service in the U.S. Air Force he worked for Morgan & Thornburg as a pipefitter and was a member of Steamfitters Local Union 614 for 35 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Joy Crouse; son, James Matthew Crouse (Kim); grandson, Canon; daughter, Amber Crouse; mother, Mildred Crouse; sisters, Norma Golding (Billy), Marilyn Gresham (Richard) all of Memphis; and brother, Stanley Crouse (Mayme) of Jacksonville, FL. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until the memorial service at 2:30 pm, Wednesday June 22, 2011 in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home-Memphis. James spent significant time at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with his work; therefore, in lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude.
