Dr. James Boswell's Obituary
DR. JAMES L. BOSWELL, 64, died June 25, 2011 at his home. Mr. Boswell was a 1968 graduate of Mississippi College and University of Mississippi Doctor of Medicine in 1973. He was Methodist Hospital Intern of the year in 1973, a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, The Tennessee Medical Association, American Board of Internal Medicine, and 2nd Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Boswell; four daughters, Chrissie Reilly (Patrick), Sarah Monahan (Drew), Camille Hodges (Kipper), and Kristen Amonette (Andrew); one son, Adam Boswell; one sister, Barbara Rushton; two brothers, Alan Boswell and Ted Boswell; three grandchildren, Hayes Reilly, Isabella Amonette, and Aiden Amonette; and his faithful Nurse of 29 years, Brenda Hughes. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, at 2nd Presbyterian Church with Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
