James Alderson's Obituary
James Alderson, 91, of Memphis, TN., passed away January 5, 2013.He was born July 5, 1922 in Memphis. He was a lifetime resident and retired from the house painting business. Mr. Alderson was a veteran of the Army during WWII. He married Elizabeth Pinkerton, the love of his life, January 1943. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth, his sister-in-law, Nome, of Post Falls, ID. His nieces and nephews, Dan (Memphis, TN), Phyllis (Olive Branch, MS.), Colleen (Wichita,KS.), Patricia (Amarillo, TX), Debbie (Spokane, WA.), James (SunValley, ID), Jan (Seattle, WA). Mr. Alderson also loved his many grand- nieces and nephews and cherished his friends. James was a deacon at Leeland Baptist Church and loved the Lord. Family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
