Jacqulyn "Jackie" Carter Mosby's Obituary
Jacqulyn "Jackie" Carter Mosby, born on June 30, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, in Dallas, Texas where she lived for the past year with her daughter and family.
Known for her community involvement and generosity, Jackie found joy in giving back to others and engaging in meaningful projects. Jackie was an avid tennis player in her younger years and remained a devoted fan of the sport throughout her life. She also cherished cheering on Memphis Tiger basketball and eagerly anticipated creating her annual March Madness bracket.
She is survived by her daughter, Katie Mosby Wegener and her spouse, Blake Wegener, and their three beloved children Harris, Luke, and Hayes Wegener, Michael Mosby and his spouse, Brandy Mosby and their children, Vojta, Nick and Mia Mosby. She is also survived by her cousins, Susan Omer and Pat Everett and her step-children Marty Mosby and Mandy Butler.
Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Carter, and her grandmother, Allie Herrick.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th, at Memorial Park Funeral Home in Memphis, Tennessee, beginning at 9:45 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11:00 a.m.
Jackie's memory will live on through the love she shared with her family and friends. May her legacy of kindness and generosity continue to inspire all she knew.
