Jacqueline Duffy Freeman's Obituary
Jacqueline Duffy Freeman, 75, of Collierville, passed away August 1, 2025. Born to Jack and Mildred Duffy in Wichita, Kansas on July 31, 1950, Jacqueline later moved to Memphis, Tennessee. Jacqueline graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1968 and continued her education at Methodist School of Nursing, where she became a Registered Nurse. Jacqueline advanced to the position of Head Floor Nurse at Methodist Hospital in Brinkley, Arkansas. She had a heart for serving others, volunteering for Meals on Wheels, and working as a Hospice Nurse. Jacqueline was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Mildred Duffy, her sister Pat Lawrence, and her son, Barney Lynn Freeman IV (also known as Chip). Jacqueline is survived by her husband, Barney Lynn Freeman III, her children, Keary Curtis, Megan Medford, as well as her grandchildren: Bryce Curtis, Tanner Curtis, Alexis Medford, and Mason Medford. Jacqueline is also survived by one brother, John Duffy, and sisters Marcella Lawrence and Joan Smock. A private graveside service was held Wednesday, August 6, 2025. The family requests that any memorials be made to the Campbell Foundation or the charity of the donor’s choice.
