Jackie Blane Shaw's Obituary
Jackie Blane Shaw, age 76, was called home to the Lord on January 6, 2021. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jackie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Charlotte; his five children, Lauren (Grayson) of Alpharetta, Ga., Julie (Patrick) of Sharon Springs, Ga., Elexa (Mike) of Marietta, Ga., Jason (Jenny) of Franklin, Tenn., and Jake (Kylie) of Melbourne, Fla.; and ten grandchildren, Bella, Sophia, Anya, Graham, Morgan, Blake, Alexa, Taylor, Sadie, and Ansley. He is survived by his sisters, Polly Murphy, Linda Newsom and Gigi Mills.
Jackie was born in Memphis, Tenn. on August 30, 1944, to Jack and Mary Shaw and was a lifelong Memphian until he and Charlotte moved to Melbourne, Fla. in 2017 to be closer to family. He attended Whitehaven High School, Delta State and University of Memphis before he joined the US Marine Corps Reserve (1963 - 1969). After completing his military service, Jackie founded and operated Diversified Insurance Agency in Memphis for 43 years. He regularly attended Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tenn. and Church at Viera in Viera, Fla.
A friend to many, Jackie was a kind and selfless man, tenderhearted and protective, full of wit and humor that made everyone laugh. Throughout his life he kept his eyes on Jesus, his Savior.

Service Information
A memorial celebration and visitation will be held January 30, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tenn, 38113. The visitation is scheduled from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m and memorial celebration begins at 1:00 p.m. The graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tenn., 38119.
To protect the health of all who attend, all services will practice social distancing measures and face covering will be required.
