Jack Woodall's Obituary
Jack Woodall, Jr., died on March 17, 2009.Jack was born to the late Jack and Rebecca Woodall on February 4, 1928 in Memphis, TN. Jack graduated from Memphis Technical School in 1947. He served in the Korean War. He owned and operated Woodall Drywall, Co. with Alton Widdoes who were responsible for bringing sheetrock into residential construction in Memphis. He retired from Boral Brick and was active many years in the Carnival Memphis. He was the past king of Shelbi and RaMet. After his retirement, he became an active member in the Bartlett Choral Group at the Bartlett Senior Center. He enjoyed singing and performing with them until his death.Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Bynum. He is survived by his son, Dr. Charles Woodall and his wife Melanie. He also leaves a daughter, Sherry Tanner and her children, Tammy and Heather Tanner. He also leaves a grandson, Jackson Woodall as well as many nieces, Jackie, Jody and Suzanne Widdoes who cared for him.
