Jack Harlon Walker Sr.'s Obituary
Jack Harlon Walker, Sr., born October 9, 1923, entered into the presence of the Lord October 17, 2020. A World War II veteran who served in Belgium and Germany as an army medic. He was loved by all his customers at Prescott Drugs for 45 years in South Memphis and a lifelong member of Colonial Park UMC. He was a loyal and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie, married 70 years. He is survived by his children Cynthia Brandon (Gil), and Harlon Walker (Janie); grandchildren Gil Brandon (Jennifer), Michelle Peterson (Jamie), Erica Taylor (Chip), Joshua Walker (Jessica), Rebekah Metzinger (Thor), and Israel Walker (Kathryn); and twenty great grandchildren. The family requests memorial donations be sent to Child Evangelism Fellowship of Memphis, 2091 Lee Place, Memphis, TN 38104.
