Jack Peeler's Obituary
Jack Peeler, 94, of Arlington, TN, passed away February 10, 2012 at Saint Francis Hospital – Bartlett, TN. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday, February 17, at Open Door Tabernacle Church, 10943 U.S. Highway 64, Arlington, TN. Interment will follow at Memphis Funeral Home And Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. Mr. Peeler was born November 23, 1917 to Charlie and Rosie Peeler. He was an accomplished carpenter and helped build many prominent buildings in Memphis. Mr. Peeler was also a minister of the Word of God for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Norah Evelyn Peeler; children, Philip Lee Peeler (Sandra), Jacquelyn Seward (Ron), Gwen Carpenter (Stan), and Elizabeth Peeler Spitz; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy James Peeler. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be sent to Open Door Tabernacle Church or Alzheimer’s Association .
