Jack Merritt's Obituary
Jack was born on December 25, 1915 in Myrtle, MS. He came to Memphis as a young man and was hired by State Farm Insurance Co as their second agent in this area of the country. He retired in 1995.Jack is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Martha Shapard Merritt. He is survived by a son, Clifton Merritt; granddaughters, Alexis Shaw of Louisville, KY and Katie Bowser of Morgantown, WV; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
