Jack Kinard's Obituary
Jack Kinard, 95, passed away peacefully, September 23rd, surrounded by family. He was born in Memphis, TN, and attended and graduated from Memphis Tech High School. He served in the United States Army during WWII and retired after working for 30 years for Cerro Copper & Brass.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Mary Jo, his parents, Willota and Louie Kinard, and his two sisters, Charlotte Duhn and Virginia Dacus. He leaves 3 children, Debbie Kinard ( Mary Jane) Judy Lee (Jim), and Bill Kinard (Dawn). He also leaves 4 grandchildren, Ashley Doty, Taylor Kinard, and Ty Kinard, Chad Lee and one great-grandchild, Zoë Doty.
During his prime, Jack was an avid golfer and he loved to cook. He also loved The University of Memphis Tigers football team, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family.
Services will be Thursday September 29th at 2:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery with a visitation that day starting at 1:00.
