J. Anderson Crosby, II (“Andy”) greeted eternity peacefully on Sunday, August 21, 2016 following a solo motorcycle accident around 7:20 am in Trabuco Canyon, California.Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, he has been residing in Laguna Beach, California for several years. He is survived by his mother Beverly Bateman Crosby, his elder brother Allen C. Crosby, sister-in-law Tiffany Ayers Crosby, niece Brooke A. Crosby, nephew E. A. Clark Crosby, and MANY wonderful, caring family and friends.A proud alumni of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Communications and an Executive MBA from the University of California, Irvine. He was founder and CEO of Relecom, LLC, which focused on “Managing What Matters”. Relecom’s smart, user-friendly digital marketing measurement and enhanced dashboard provided smarter reporting, and faster decision-making. Customized services enabled marketers to spend money wisely and provided intuitive contextual reporting and actionable information to effectively allocate resources across multiple marketing channels to drive revenue.A follower of Jesus and a “jungle gym” to kids. He loved to spend time with his family, his friends, and making new relationships. He served actively in community service as a friend and mentor, was actively involved in fundraisers and running events to support cancer research and cure organizations. A true gentleman with strong enthusiasm for life, passion for relationships, charismatic personality, and honest, strong work ethic who encouraged others to live life to the fullest.Visitation will be Saturday evening, September 3, 2016 from 5 – 7 PM CST at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery on Poplar Avenue in Memphis. Funeral Services at 2:30 PM Sunday, September 4. Family requests donations in lieu of flowers be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities (rmhc.org), organizations to support the research and cure of kidney and breast cancer (cancer.org/involved), or charity of the donor’s choice.
