Mr. Iwan "Johnny" S. Deripaska's Obituary
Iwan “Johnny” S. Deripaska, age 91, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Semen and Maria Deripaska. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nellie Deripaska; one daughter, Angela Lacey (Mark); one son, Gary Deripaska (Carolyn); seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a host of extended friends.
Johnny was a hard working man. He enjoyed building and designing homes and working with architects across the country, fishing and spending time with family. He was very involved with his church, Bellevue Baptist Church where he served as chairman of the ushers and participated in the Passion play. Johnny was very patriotic, he loved and appreciated his country and loved flying the flag. Above all, Johnny loved his church, family and grandchildren. He will be missed by all those who knew him and loved him.
Visitation for Johnny will be held at Bellevue Baptist Church, 2000 Appling Road, Cordova, Tennessee, 38016 on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 from 9 AM until 11 AM at which time a Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by Pastor Darrell Clarke. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN, 38119.
