Many special memories flooded my mind as I thought of all the fun we had in 12-3 homeroom and shorthand class as Treadwell High school classmates. Ivy was always so friendly and fun and in homeroom all three years there was something to laugh about every day. And in Mrs. Morris's shorthand class with Ramona and Alma I think we laughed more than we took notes.
I wish my heartfelt sympathy to the family and all those who are grieving and will continue praying for comfort to help. She will never be forgotten.

Dear Ivy,
Although we lived many miles away we always had one thing in common, our beautiful granddaughters Ainsley and Kylie.
We always looked on you as a friend and hoped you did with us. We didn’t spend as much time with you as we would have liked whenever we were in Memphis, but whenever we did we always found you the same way, friendly and warm, you had a way with you that made everybody you met want to be your friend and you succeeded.
Your passing means you are no longer in pain, but safe in the arms of God and we take comfort from that.

What can I say about Ivy. Our little spitfire. Known her since humm.. 1st grade . (1955). Got reacquainted on FB in 2009. Just the same girl I remember in school. My heart is broken for all our loss, but my prayers are going out for her husband Lenny and their sons, daughter, granddaughters and her brother and sisters. There will never be another like her. Will miss her tremendously. Bye precious.
