IRENE SITTON THOMAS 86, of Memphis passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009 at Signature Healthcare. Irene was born in McKenzie, TN on April 5, 1923.Irene worked as a key punch operator for Taylor Paper Company. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.She was preceded in death her daughters, Patricia Ingram and Janet Boyette. She is survived by her son, Joseph Sitton, two grandchildren, Melissa Hudson and Shane Ingram, seven great-grandchildren and her cat, Sheila.The family will be receiving friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Thursday, September 17, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September, 18 at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Fireside Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
