HUBBARD L. DOROUGH. Funeral Services for H.L. “Hubbard” Dorough have been set for Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Church of The Good Shepherd located at 1971 Jackson Avenue. Mr. Dorough died on December 11 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born to Lee M. and Mattie Hubbard Dorough on August 24, 1912. He proudly served as a Technical Sergeant of Engineering in the Army during WWII. He married Mary Gladney on September 17, 1938. They were married for 60 years before she preceded him in death in 1998. Mr. Dorough was an active member of the Church of The Good Shepherd for over 60 years. He was self-employed as a drapery man until his retirement in 1995. He is survived by two nephews, Donald D. Dorough of Pensacola, FL and Wayne Dorough of Omaha, NE; two sisters-in-law, Jean Lawrence of Memphis and Billie Donnell of Dumas, TX; a niece, Marietta and Scott Reynolds of Dumas also a cousin, Tom Dorough of Oakland, TN. Visitation has been set for Monday, December 13 from 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
