Howard Cashon's Obituary
Howard Cashon, 88, passed away July 7, 2013 at his home. Born on June 14, 1925 in Dukedom, TN to Jesse and Herman Cashon, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart. He retired from Oak Hall after 20 years of service. Prior to that, he was employed by Cashon-Wright Menswear. He loved Boston Terriers and enjoyed riding horses. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Cashon; a daughter, Elizabeth Daniel (Tom); two grandsons, Brian (Donna) and Kevin (Stefanie); three great-granddaughters, Leah, Mallory, and Ava; and a niece, Marybeth Fowlkes. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold C. Cashon. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 10 at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Burial with military honors will follow.
