Hollis Hall's Obituary
HOLLIS R. “Tex” HALL, 85, of Eads, Tennessee, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Methodist North Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, February 28, 5-8 p.m. and funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, both at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Hollis retired from Bell South Telephone Co. after 37 years. He was a member of our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and a World War II Army Air Force Veteran. He was the husband of Amanda Murphy Hall of Memphis and also leaves two sons, Stephen R. Hall of Memphis and William E. Hall of Eads; one granddaughter Dana Knott, and two great-grandchildren, Lennon Knott and Vivienne Freitas. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
