Hilda B. Fowler Savage's Obituary
Hilda B. Fowler Savage, 91, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Punta Gorda, Florida and Memphis, Tenn., died Dec. 31, 2017. She was born on Jan. 21, 1926, she lived in Memphis until her late husband, Doyle’s, retirement in 1994 when they moved to Punta Gorda. Mrs. Savage, a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, was a homemaker and member of The Ninety-Nines aviation organization. Her greatest role was that of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle C. Savage, son, John C. Savage, and granddaughter, Lauren Pearcy, she is survived by son, Ralph (Debi) S. Savage, of Orlando; daughter, Linda Hammons (Brian) of St. Augustine; four granddaughters and four great grandchildren. The interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to either The First Academy (grandchildren’s school), 2667 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32805, or Cornerstone Hospice Foundation, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FLorida 32778.
