Hilda Brown Allen
Born: September 20, 1951 Memphis, Tennessee and passed away peacefully on December 3, 2020 at her home.
Hilda who also went by Miss Hil was Born in Memphis, Tennesee and was raised in Frayser, Tennessee. Miss Hil along with her father, Ralph Edward Brown and mother, Amy Randall Brown started the Frayser Ranch Club for horses in the 1960's & became the #1 Barrel Racer along with her favorite (2) horses, Little Brown Jug & Joy being a part of the Western Pleasure/Mid-South Rodeo.
In her adult years, she lived through her two sons, Lem Allen & Clint Allen with all of their Friends Playing AAU Basketball for the Memphis Celtics & at Harding Academy & attending the Sycamore View Church of Christ.
Her greatest joy's in life were watching her sons play football & basketball at Harding Academy. She loved hosting her friends every Saturday for Allen special dinners.
In the last few years of her Life she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow, Shelton Allen, Reese Allen, Hadley Rose Allen.
The visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, at 12 o’clock with a funeral service to follow at 1 o’clock in the Riverside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
