Ronald Johnson Jr.
I have known Herb Jr. since 1950 when I found out he was my cousin. My family had just returned from Japan. The first place the family went was to Omaha to see Grampa and Gramma Johnson. While there the Jrs. all meet at Gram’s house. Our paths crossed on and off over the next few years. After high school our paths went in different directions. Herb to college, Harold to Firefighters , Ronald to US Navy. Over the years our paths rarely crossed again. We each had own destiny’s to follow. I wish that we could have had more time together, but that was not be. I often think of the old days when we the Jrs. got together, sometimes getting into trouble. Smoking cigars and trying to sip people’s beer. I am sad to hear that my cousin has passed away. He will be remembered by me and many others.
