Henry Pank Davidson's Obituary
Henry Pank Davidson, 85, passed away July 24, 2009. He was born to Benjamin Freed Davidson and Lela Turner Davidson in 1923, in Stigler, Okla.He was the widower of the late Sara Frances Davidson, his wife of 44 years. He retired from DIPEC, subsidiary of Defense Depot in Memphis, Tn. His passion in life was devoted to his wife, and loving and enjoying his daughters and grandson.He served in World War II as a Tec 4, in Company B 88th Signal Battalion. He was awarded WWII Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, 3 Asiatic Pacific Theater ribbons, and 2 Philippine Liberation ribbons. He fought in Northern Solomon Islands and Luzon.He is preceded in death by his brothers, Arno Davidson, Edsel Davidson, and his sister, Mary Honeycutt. He is survived by his daughters, Judy Davidson, and Terry Mills. He also leaves one grandson, the love of his life, Hunter Davidson. He is also survived by one brother, Dr. L.J. Davidson.Visitation will be held between 5-7 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, July 27, 2009.In lieu of flowers, the family requests any contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
