Helen Virginia Hull Logan Swann's Obituary
Helen Virginia Hull Logan Swann, “Ginger”, 91, of Memphis went to be with her Lord on January 30, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Major Samuel P. Logan Jr. and George Randall Swann. Among the many who will deeply miss her are her children, C. David Logan (Deen) of Nashville, T. Michael Logan (Karen) of Germantown, Jennifer Swann Kelly (Ken) of Brunswick, TN, James Randall Swann (Debbie) of Frisco, TX, ten Grandchildren and fifteen Great Grandchildren. Ginger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted follower of her Savior, Jesus Christ. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at All Saints Episcopal Church at 1508 S. White Station Rd. with visitation at 1 PM and communion service at 2 PM. A private grave site service will follow at Memorial Park on Poplar Ave. Ginger requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Emmanuel Center c/o of Colenzo Hubbard at Memphis Leadership Foundation, 604 St. Paul Ave., Memphis TN 38126.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
