Helen Doris Smith-Moser's Obituary
Mrs. Helen Doris Smith-Moser age 92 formally of Collierville, Tennessee passed away in New Albany, Mississippi on July 7, 2026.
She was born on April 12, 1934 in New Albany, Mississippi to the late Henry Clyde Langford and Pauline Littlejohn Langford.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Smith, beloved sister, Jewel Langford Rowan, Brother-in-Law, Fleet Rowan, and Sister-in-Law, Shirley Langford.
She is survived by her brother, Roger Langford (Pat), niece/daughter, Rhonda Worthy (James), stepson, Jerry Moser (Tina) and two great nieces Kathryn Worthy and Madison Worthy Minich (Hayden) and one great great-nephew, Asher Thomas Minich.
Helen found great joy in spending time with her family and friends, tending to her yard, and showing kindness and compassion to those around her. She was a faithful member of Germantown Baptist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. Helen was employed for over 42 years with 24 years of service dedicated to the City of Bartlett as the Bartlett City Court Clerk, earning the respect and admiration of the community she faithfully served. In recognition of her distinguished career, she was presented with the City of Bartlett’s Golden Key. She retired at the age of 72, leaving a lasting legacy of dedication, service, faith, and love for others.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to Germantown Baptist Church and Dogwood Assisted Living in New Albany, Mississippi in memory of Mrs. Helen.
Service for Helen will be on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 2:00pm in the Fireside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home, with Bro. John Longworth, officiating. The family will receive family and friends for visitation two hours prior to the service beginning at 12:00pm. She will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery.
