Helen Simpson, 94, A beautiful lady has joined the angels in heaven. Helen Simpson, born Feb.6, 1919 and passed away on Jan.20, 2014. She had an angelic voice and music was her passion. She was an active member of St. Michaels Catholic Church where she proudly participated in the choir. She is survived by son Michael, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Poplar Avenue on Friday, January 24, 2014 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with Funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
