Helen P. Harden's Obituary
Helen Pearl Harden passed away April 22nd, 2021 in Nesbit, Mississippi after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was born in Hutchison, Kansas on January 14th, 1932. She grew up in Del City, Oklahoma.
After moving to Memphis, Tennessee in 1955, she married Henry Harden in November 2 1957. Together they raised four children: Clif, Crystal, Terry, and Nathan. Some of the things that Helen was best known for was her love of gardening, cooking, singing, and crafting. She was skilled in each one of these hobbies. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting. Helen was a devoted member of Church Road Baptist Church in Horn Lake, Mississippi. She was affectionally known and loved as Mrs. Harden by members of the church. Those who knew her knew of her love for her Lord and Savior. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and her husband Henry.
She is survived by her four children: Clif Harden (Celeste), Crystal Walls, Terry Harden, and Nathan Harden (Amber). She is survived by five grandchildren; Dawn Harden, Jennifer Walls, Jeremy Walls, Kelly Watkins, and Faith Harden and five great-grandchildren; Micah, Emma, Gracie, Abigail, and Wesley.
The visitation will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. until the service time at 2:30 p.m., at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
