Helen Carmine Buckingham's Obituary
Helen Carmine Buckingham of Olive Branch, MS, born April 9, 1926 in East St. Louis, Missouri, passed away December 24, 2009. She was a former resident of Jonesboro, Arkansas for 19 years. She leaves her three children, John Bowen Buckingham, Claudia Cole Michaels, William Hugh Buckingham, her sister Doris Luna, from Ohio, her five grandsons, William Cody Buckingham, Ryan O’Daniel Buckingham, Hugh Whitten Buckingham, Shawn Buckingham, Andrew David Barrett, John Gloria, her two granddaughters Sabrina Louise Reed, Stephanie Michelle Toundas and ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and her daughter-in-law and friend, Jeri M. Buckingham. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hugh Buckingham Sr.,and her parents, Claude and Helen Bell. She was a member of Maples Memorial Methodist Church in Olive Branch, MS. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. In lieu of flowers we ask that any donations be made in her name to the charitable organization of your choice.
