Helen Marie Basham Campbell's Obituary
Helen Marie Basham Campbell age 93, Murfreesboro resident for the past 4 years, formerly of Knoxville, TN, went to be with our Lord peacefully, surrounded by family at Middle Tennessee Medical Center on Friday, December 10, 2010. The courage and strength she displayed throughout her life was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was a former member of Concord United Methodist Church in Knoxville, TN. Helen retired from the US government after many years of faithful employment with the Memphis Army Depot. She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories: son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Jerry Neal and Jane Campbell of Murfreesboro, son and daughter-in-law, Donald Lee and Barbara Campbell of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jay and wife, Christi Campbell, Carrie Campbell Taylor and husband, Michael, Adam and wife, Jeana Campbell, Scott and wife, Jodie Campbell, Anne Campbell Vazquez and husband, Jose, Leah Campbell and Mark Campbell; great-grandchildren, Trey and CJ Campbell, Campbell, Jackson and Harrison Taylor, Suzanna and Elizabeth Campbell, Cole and KP Campbell, Josannah, Helena and Kian Vazquez, Isaiah, Kyleigh and Kenlei Campbell; siblings: brother, Maynard Basham of Memphis and sister, Florence Evelyn Harris of Midlothian, VA. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 14, at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel, Memphis. Reverend Dennis Neiman officiating. Interment following at Memphis Memory Gardens. Pallbearers: Jay Campbell, Michael Taylor, Adam Campbell, Scott Campbell, Jose Vazquez and Mark Campbell.
