Helen Anders' Obituary
HELEN CHRISTINE YANDELL ANDERS, October 18, 1919 – January 1, 2014. Mrs. Anders died quietly in her sleep on New Year’s morning, as always wishing not to discommode anyone. Child of God, faithful and loving wife of 60 years, wise mother, Bible student and teacher, servant in the church. For many years she cared carefully for her husband with great strength of character. She grew ever more gentle in spirit through the years and will be missed by those close to her in her final days. She has gone to her real home. Mrs. Anders is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Anders Bowman; her son-in-law, Jerry H. Bowman; grandsons, James Morrow, Joshua Bowman, and Peter Bowman; two great-grandchildren; her loving church; and her care-takers at Kennington Point Assisted Living Facility. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Anders Morrow, and her husband, James M. Anders. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, January 4 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
