I was so shocked and saddened to read of Heather's death at such a young age in yesterday's paper. I taught her Speed Reading at I.C. and remember her fondly. My prayers go out to your family, especially to Ashleigh, Priscilla, and Hillary that I was blessed to teach at St. Agnes. Nothing is more difficult than losing a daughter or sister. May God carry you throughout this painful time and give you strength.

Heather was my big sis at IC when I was a freshman in high school. Remembering her wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts. May many happy memories comfort the entire family during this time.

She had this quiet sense of humor and you never knew she was in the room and then your eyes would find her and there was always this smile on her face! We always seemed to have class together and had a kinship of sharing the usual high school adventures. I knew she would be successful in her endeavors and knew her kindness would carry her far. I first met Heather when she was a young woman of 19 years old. We were instant friends. As life happens, we lost contact for a large number of years but, fortunate for me, we got to rekindle that friendship a couple of years ago while both working for the YMCA.
