Hazel H. McCord's Obituary
Hazel Hewitt McCord, age 89, passed away on August 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Mr. Edsel McCord, parents, Wallace E. and Evelyn Hewitt. Hazel was born November 11, 1929. She is survived by her son, Stan McCord and his wife Sandy who she loved as her own daughter. She loved her three grandpups, Keke, Koko and Suke. She was loved by many and was known for her great cooking skills, her love for the outdoors and camping. She truly loved spoiling her dogs who preceded her, Susie, Benji and Bo. She will be missed by all the people that knew and loved her. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 3 at 2:30 p.m. The family will gather from 2 p.m. until the graveside service that begins at 2:30 p.m. All services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN. 38119 (901) 767-8930 “A Fitting Farewell for Everyone”
