Hattie Hyde's Obituary
Hattie Chambless Hyde, 93, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Memphis, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Mrs. Hyde was born and raised in Greenwood, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Hyde; her parents, George W. and Hattie A. Chambless of Greenwood MS; four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Harriet Towle (Wallace) of Hot Springs, and Sue Crabtree (Clint) of Memphis. She was blessed with five grandchildren, Paige Henson and Cham Crabtree (Amy) of Memphis, Traci Folds (JR) and Kristi Douglas (Brien) of Hot Springs, and Jennifer Wolcott (Chris) of Branson, Missouri, and thirteen great-grandchildren. When Mrs. Hyde lived in Memphis she was a member of Buntyn Presbyterian Church. In Hot Springs, she was a member of First United Methodist Church where a memorial service will be held Monday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery in the Mausoleum Rotunda on Tuesday, July 1 at 10:00 a.m.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, 901-767-8930, “Behind the Stone Wall”.
