Hassan Parsioon's Obituary
Hassan Parsioon, known to friends as “Timsar,” passed away on February 18, 2018, at the age of 100 years, surrounded by loved ones. Timsar spent most of his professional life as a military general in Iran and decorated war veteran. He earned several medals, including the most important military medal in Iran, the Sepah medal. He began his career as a cadet and steadily rose through the ranks to become a top general under the Shah of Iran. After retiring, he enjoyed spending time with family, reading and cultivating his skills as a talented gardener. His discipline, attention to detail and recollection were legendary. He was a man of faith. Every step he took in life, he took alongside God and taught his family to do the same. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and took immense pride in his family. He is survived by his 3 sons, 2 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, one great-granddaughter and 3 daughters-in-law. He will be forever remembered by his family and friends for his courage, generosity and wisdom.
