Harry David Shepard's Obituary
Harry David Shepard, III, 71, passed away October 10, 2015 after a long, good fight with cancer. He was born April 28, 1944 in Utica, NY to Phyllis and Harry Shepard, Jr. He attended the University of Tennessee – Knoxville where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was a member of St. George’s Episcopal Church, Germantown, TN. He was active in two antique car clubs: MOPAR and AACA. He loved motorcycles and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Randy Shepard; children, Laura Shepard Page (Stephen), Lee Lynn Campbell (Keith), Jimmy Shepard (Neca), Leslie Sheehan (Tom), Rob Whitlow (Elizabeth), and Rachel Mitchell (Trey); fourteen grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by his siblings, Hiram Shepard (Carolyn), Carole Gunner (Bryan), Charles Shepard (Janet), and Phyllis Kronk (David). He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kasey Kessler and Lindsey Henderson. Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 2 p.m., Friday, October 16 at St. George’s Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made In Memory of Dave Shepard be sent to the Kasey Kessler Memorial Scholarship Fund, Farmer’s and Merchant’s Bank, 1315 West Market Street, Bolivar, TN 38008.
