Harry Walter Ross, III.'s Obituary
Harry Walter Ross III was born in Memphis, TN on February 18, 1965. He is the son of Sharon and Bill Thoda. He leaves behind two children, Evan and Abigail Ross. Harry is the brother of two sisters, Tish Brooks and Michelle Thoda. He is the proud grandfather of two grandchildren, ages 3 years old and 5 months old.
Harry is an incredible man that changed the lives of anyone he came in contact with. He never fails to lighten the mood with his sometimes raunchy and sarcastic humor. Harry is the glue of the family, and family time is always his priority.
He never misses an opportunity for a new business venture. Whether it’s his pizza restaurant in Cooper-Young, car lot, or his hot dog stand, this list goes on. He is a well-known man in many avenues, and everyone is always confident that they can rely on Harry. He will drop everything to help those he loves when they need him. He is a self-proclaimed “jack of all trades and a master of none”. He keeps life interesting by always embarking on a new adventure which often times included new pets. Over the years he has owned goats, sugar gliders, iguanas, a ferret, chickens, birds, fish, etc. Harry has a heart for rescue dogs and has saved many over the years. At the time of his passing, he leaves behind three dogs, Scooter, Baby Girl, and Annie, who are his loving companions.
He is a simple man and you can always find him in his gold chain and tennis shoes. A day never passed when he didn’t have a new car for sale in his yard. He plays burned CDs full of early 2000s hip hop and 80’s rock and roll on repeat. Harry never misses an episode of Jeopardy and will schedule his time to watch it at 3:00 every day. He loves to travel and finds joy and happiness in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and his family cabin in Enid, Mississippi. As much as he loves Memphis, his ultimate goal was to move to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which was his own personal paradise.
Those he has left behind with never forget the memorable impact he has made on their lives.
