Harry Joseph Herbers' Obituary
Harry was a WWII Navy Veteran having served in the Pacific on the USS Pennsylvania. Upon his return, he joined in the family business, H & L Plumbing & Heating. Harry was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Memphis Local Plumbers Union #17 and was the former president of the Masters Mechanical Contractors Association (MMCA).Harry enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising cattle. Upon his retirement from the family business, he worked on his farm in Mississippi raising cattle, chickens, goats and other livestock.Harry is survived by his nine children; Annysa Strausser, Ginger Harris, Toni Juengling, Charles Herbers, Melba Fluke, Harry Herbers, Jr., Renee Speck, Robin Newsom and Greg Herbers. Harry is also survived by his brother, Jack Herbers, his sisters, JoAnn Avanzi, Barbara King and Carolyn Powers; 32 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
