Harry Clay Berry's Obituary
Harry Clay Berry, 90, of Memphis, TN, passed away January 14, 2009 at St. Francis Nursing Home. He was a member of Audubon Park Baptist Church since 1985, where he taught Sunday School Classes and had been a member of Park Ave. Baptist for 30 years. He had been a Mason, Past Master of the DeSoto Lodge #219, member of the Steamfitters Local 614 for 65 years and a WW II Navy veteran. He leaves his wife of 67 years, Lila Berry; son, Phillip Berry; daughter, Linda Berry; sister, Kelly O’Roak Berry; grandchildren, Sean Michael Berry, William Clay Berry, Elisa Dawn Short, April Michele Farris and great-grandchildren, Trey Dickey, III, Ashtyn Farris, James Greyson Farris and Brodie Michael Berry. Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Clay Berry. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Audubon Park Baptist Church with the visitation being held from 10:00 till service time. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be sent to Audubon Baptist Church.
