Harriette Reeves' Obituary
Harriette Reeves passed peacefully and joined the Lord on March 18, 2009.Harriette was born on March 24, 1916 in New Madrid, MO. She attended Lindenwood University where she majored in History and was active in her sorority, Delta Delta Delta. She later married attorney George K. Reeves and moved to Caruthersville, MO where they welcomed the birth of their children, Kendrick and Maria. The family then moved to Memphis, TN where Harriette was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Pink Ladies at St. Francis Hospital. She attended the congregation at the Church of the Holy Spirit. She enjoyed watching her grandson play football. She loved playing records and cards with her granddaughter. She touched many people in her life and all will remember her quick wit and tenacious demeanor and passion for travel and culture.She is preceded in death by her ex-husband, George K. Reeves and their son Kendrick Reeves. She is survived by her daughter, Maria and her husband Ray Beliles and their children, Stephanie and Philip.The family would like to thank Carriage Court and Crossroads Hospice.
