Fred is one of my favorite people; I'm just lucky that we're family as well. I had the fortune of being able to visit my Dad, Jim, and Cousin Fred in Arkansas for a few late season fishing trips in recent years. I admired Fred's ability to engage in meaningful conversation with pretty much anyone. I admired Fred's wit and charm that did not waiver in his final years. I admired Fred for his sweetness. He was a beautiful human being and someone I very much look up to for all the reasons stated and more. I'm not entirely sure what heaven will be like, but if it includes getting to spend more time with Fred on a fishing boat with our lines in the water, that'd be alright by me. Love you, sir! Yes Fred loved to laugh and make others laugh. When I married his brother Bill the first time my family met him he wrote Help Me on the bottom of his brothers shoes as we knelt at the alter. My Mom especially laughed out loud and thought she was crying. Many a family gathering we spent time together and that is when I learned that truly I was married to a Romine. Such a Blessing to know someone so loving, wise, intelligent, funny, and fearlessly protective of their family. I spent many times cooking and sharing cooking meals with him and my wonderful Sister in Law. The most important thing was he loved our GOD and we spent many times talking about his faith. I will miss him so but know he is with his Lord singing and playing his music he loved. Love you Debbie Romine
