Joe was a true friend and great fraternity brother. He was the conduit that kept all the older alums informed and in contact. This is such sad news and I’m so very sorry for your loss. Joe could always make us smile with that easy laugh and personality. My thoughts are with you during this dfficult time. It was a long time ago, but I still have fond memories of “Stations Training.”
Our deepest sympathy to Joe’s family. I was a brother with him in the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at Memphis State University in the 60’s. He always had a smile or a joke and a good word for all of us. We lost track of each other when I served in the military but got back in touch with each other a year or so ago. Still the same Joe, with an outgoing personality and great sense of humor. My wife Carolyn and I had the pleasure of meeting his wife Joy on several occasions.
