Harold L Harness' Obituary
Harold Harness, 90, passed away peacefully May 23, He was born to Walter and Roxie Harness June 9, 1927. He is survived by his loving wife and companion of 67 years, Marcie and sister, Mary Nell Coleman (Billy).Harold was a faithful member for over 50 years at Second Baptist Church serving as deacon, usher, and other areas for his church family. He and Marcie went on many cruises and shows in Branson, MO. After serving two tours with the U.S. Air Force, he graduated from William R. Moore School of Technology and retired from the Defense Logistics Agency of the U.S. Government. Harold served as past Master of Bartlett Lodge 211, Scottish Rite, al Chymia Shrine Temple, past Worthy Patron of Mizpah 62 Order of the Eastern Star, and was charter member of Raleight Jaycees.Visitation will be 10:30-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, May 29 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m.Donations may be sent to Second Baptist Church, 4680 Walnut Grove Road, Memphis, TN 38117.
