Hannah Flanery's Obituary
Hannah Elizabeth Flanery, 20, died Monday, May 5, 2014 in Boca Raton, Florida. The beloved daughter of Tracy and Julie Flanery, she was born in Memphis on March 2, 1994. She moved to Florida two years ago where she was a student at Florida Atlantic University with plans to attend Physician’s Assistant school upon completion of her degree. A beautiful girl with a tender heart, Hannah loved her large extended family and her many cherished friends. Her radiant smile, kind heart and caring spirit brought much joy into the world, and no words can express how much she will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She graduated from St. Benedict at Auburndale High School in 2012 where she played volleyball. She also modeled for several agencies while in high school. She was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church, Cordova. Besides her parents, Julie and Tracy Flanery, and her brother, Adam, Hannah is survived by her maternal grandparents, Jim and Ruth King of Collierville and maternal great-grandmother Ocella McGaugh, formerly of Union City, TN. Her paternal grandparents, the late Jesse Adam and Mary Beth Flanery, formerly of Cotton Plant, Arkansas, preceded her in death. Her loving family, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her, will always cherish her memory and remember with great fondness the wonderful family times they shared together. Visitation will be at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday, May 10, from 11 am – 1 pm with a service celebrating her life immediately following at 1 pm. Hannah was passionate about pursuing a career in nursing so in lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be sent in her name to Baptist Memorial Healthcare Foundation-Nursing/Medical Camp, 350 N.
