Dr. H. Clyde Lewis' Obituary
Dr. H. Clyde Lewis, 87, died on Monday, December 28, 2009, after a brief illness. He was a retired auditor from Texas Eastern Gas Transmission Company. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII. Dr. Lewis was a deacon and librarian at the Church of Christ at White Station. He was on the leadership council at Harding Graduate School of Religion and was honored by Harding University with an honorary doctorate for having the most voluntary hours donated to the school. He also enjoyed fishing and golfing. Dr. Lewis was preceded in death by his wife Griffie Lewis; and a daughter, Ann Lewis. He is survived by his daughter, Jean Saunders (Andy); a sister, Loreta Kelly; a brother Dr. Jack P. Lewis; a grandson, Jonathon Saunders; and two great-grandsons, Aidan and Jordan Saunders.
