Gwen A. Fitzpatrick's Obituary
Gwendolyn Adams Fitzpatrick was born in Pearsall, TX on September 21, 1922 to Luther and Beulah Adams. She was raised in South Texas with two brothers and a sister, now deceased. She studied Economics at George Washington University and was an Executive Administrative Assistant to many members of the U.S. Congress from 1947-1958. She later worked her way up to Promotion Director of Kiplinger’s Changing Times Magazine. She was very active in the Direct Marketing Club of Washington and AARP in Germantown, TN. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard S. Fitzpatrick and son Edward A. Fitzpatrick. She is survived by two granddaughters, Kathleen Fitzpatrick and Laurie Fitzpatrick Vaughn.
Due to the current national health conditions, there will be a private committal service at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis.
