Gregory Edward Martin's Obituary
Gregory Edward Martin, Jr., 67, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Baptist Desoto Hospital. Mr. Martin was an Army veteran and a Tax Accountant for Truck Pro. He was a Civil War enthusiast and an avid reader. He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory E. Martin, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Linda C. Martin of Southaven, MS, his mother, Marietta Silva Jones of Concord, CA, one son, Jeffrey B. Hill (Kim) of Memphis, one grandchild, Katie, one sister, Annette Bohannon of Millbrae, CA, and a nephew, Jeff Bohannon, of Concord, CA. Memorial Services will be Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Fireside Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the American Diabetes Association.
