Gregory Huntsman's Obituary
Gregory Huntsman, 62, a Pearland, TX resident formerly of Katy TX, passed away on October 31, 2021, at his home. Gregory was born in Memphis, TN on September 19, 1959. He was a beloved Deacon and member at Sovereign Grace Church for 30 years. Gregory served Houston as a police officer for 36 years and retired as a Lieutenant from the Houston Police Department. He was also a member of the Retired Houston Police Officers’ Association.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Helen Huntsman; brothers: Carl Huntsman, Gerald Huntsman, and Derek Huntsman.
Lieutenant Huntsman leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Brenda Renea Huntsman; daughters: Adrienne Renea McClure, husband Brian, Allyson Janell Huntsman, and Taylor Grace Huntsman; sons: Christopher Ray Huntsman, and Michael Derek Huntsman; sisters: Yvette Yates, husband Thomas, and Jackie Sigur; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. and a service at 11:00 a.m. at Sovereign Grace Church (5004 Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77089).
On Tuesday, November 23, 2021 there will be a visitation from 1:00pm until 3:00pm, with a graveside service following at 3:00pm
