Greg M. Seelig's Obituary
Greg M. Seelig, 60, passed away on February 18, 2025. He is survived by four daughters, Heather Travis (Riley), Erica Wheatley (Michael), Alisa Von Thaden, Taylor Seelig, and three grandchildren, Beckett and Lachlan Travis, Walker Wheatley.
Greg started the company Tennessee Tree and worked as an arborist for 40 years. He could point out any issue with any tree after looking at it for less than a minute. A lot of his time was spent traveling with his family and friends. He loved being on a boat in the water, whether it was at Heber Springs, Spring River, or Sardis. He enjoyed going 4-wheeler riding and camping. He loved to drive cool cars, trucks, and motorcycles. He would push his cars to their limits and then go buy another car.
Greg was a very talented drummer. He would turn the radio on and play along to every song that would come on. He played in multiple bands with his friends around Memphis throughout his life. He had a heart of gold. Even when he had nothing to give, he would try to help anyone who needed it. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.
The visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life starting at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 24, 2025, at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis, TN 38119.
