Glyn Garner Bounds II's Obituary
Glyn Garner Bounds II was born on Mother’s Day, May 13, 1945, in Knoxville, TN. He most recently resided in Memphis, TN, and passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia Pratt Bounds and Glyn Garner Bounds, and was an only child. He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Stinson (David), and his grandson, William David Stinson IV (Will).
Glyn was a man of many talents and interests. He could do or fix anything, enjoyed tackling all kinds of projects, and held a variety of jobs over his lifetime. He loved photography, flew as a private pilot, and served proudly in the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard. He attended the University of Tennessee and was known for his sharp mind, curiosity, and warm sense of humor. He cherished his family and took great pride in them. A lifelong Christian, he most recently attended Ellendale Baptist Church.
A private family service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, Memphis, TN, at a later date.
