Gloria Rhoads Rawls, better known as Gran, was born in 1941 to Preston and Christine in the small town of Dell, AR. She was the third of six children. She met the love of her life, Gerald "Jerry" Rawls, at the local Cream Castle i Read Obituary
I am sorry this is late but I was just informed of Gloria's passing. Gloria was my deceased sister Jean willbanks best friend. She was at our house or Jean was at her house throughout all 12 years of school. Her sister Shirley Kay was also one of my best friends. I have never forgotten all the good times all of us shared. I lost contact with her after I got married to my military husband and we moved away. The last time I saw Gloria was in Union City, Tn. In 1966. We were at my in laws in Union City and were leaving for our next assignment to Hawwii. We went over to her house and as we were leaving I told my son to give her daughter Kim a hug and when he did he bit her on the cheek. Gloria was always such a happy person and she had a heart of gold. I will never forget you Gloria and your brothers and sisters. You all were like family to me. I am so sorry for your loss.
