Glenn Lance Phillips' Obituary
Glenn Lance Phillips, 46, was killed in a senseless act of violence on Thursday, July 2, 2009 outside his Memphis apartment. Mr. Phillips was a 1981 graduate of Ridgeway High School and attended Shelby State. He had been an employee of Office Depot in Germantown for 5 years, prior to that he worked for Auto Zone for 7 years.He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn F. Phillips, and sister, Kimtoria Wernecke. Surviving is his mother, Sharlyn Phillips of Collierville, his twin sister Fonda Phillips Dichiara (Tom) of Jackson, MS, his maternal grandmother, Loretta Choate, a niece, Natalie Wernecke, a nephew, Justin Wernecke, two uncles, Mike Amidei (Linda), and “Papa” John Amidei (Patsy), one aunt, Connie Tuchmann, and his beloved dog, Pepper.Funeral services will be Monday, July 6, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home in the Riverside Chapel.
